Phytoseiidae, genus of arachnid, Phytoseiidae, is recognized as the most widely used predator mite with good control effect on leaf mites. It is highly specific to leaf mites, and very greedy, adult mites can eat 5-20 prey per day (including eggs), play a pivotal role in the biological control of leaf mites.
